Gold price hits record again high for two consecutive days in Bangladesh. This is going to set another new record for the highest price of gold in the country in a single day. This time it is increasing by 1,260 taka per gram. This new rate will be effective across the country from tomorrow, Tuesday.
Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) announced the decision to adjust the price of gold in a press release on Monday night. It said that the price of pure gold in the local market has increased. Therefore, the price of gold has been revised.
The price of gold per bhori has been increased by Tk 2,718 in the domestic market today, Monday. As a result, the price of good quality gold, i.e. 22 carats, has increased to Tk 1,81,550 per bhori. This is the highest price of gold in the country’s history.
According to the decision of the Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS), the price of hallmarked 22-carat gold per bhori (11.664 grams) in the country’s market will increase to Tk 1,82,810 from tomorrow, Tuesday. This marks another record for the highest price of gold.
Apart from this, from tomorrow, the price of 21 carat gold per bhori will be 1 lakh 74 thousand 505 taka and 18 carat 1 lakh 49 thousand 567 taka. Apart from this, the price of gold per bhori in the traditional system will increase by 1 lakh 23 thousand 942 taka. In the domestic market today, Monday, hallmarked 22-carat gold was sold for 181,550 taka per bhori, 21-carat for 173,304 taka, 18-carat for 148,541 taka, and traditional gold was sold for 123,067 taka per bhori.
Accordingly, from tomorrow, Tuesday, the price of 22-carat gold will increase by 1,260 taka, 21-carat gold by 1,201 taka, 18-carat gold by 1,026 taka, and traditional gold by 875 taka.
